Meet Koyomi Araragi, a third year high school student who briefly became a vampire, but is almost human again.
One day at school, his classmate named Hitagi Senjôgahara, falls down the stairs and Koyomi catches her. He realizes that she weighs next to nothing! Koyomi offers to help her by introducing her to Meme Oshino, a middle-aged homeless man. Meme is the one who helped Koyomi stop being a vampire.
In future episodes, Koyomi encounters a different heroine, each involved with a different apparition .
