Full Show Summary: Welcome to the scary world of R.L. Stine. The television series Goosebumps is based on the series of books by the same name and aired on Fox from 1995 to 1998. The reruns of the show can still be seen on different channels and are loved by many who like to be scared. While at one time the show had a warning that it might not be suitable for children under seven, that was mostly ignored and Goosebumps is loved by everyone from the small to the big horror lovers of the world. Goosebumps has a score of eerie music accompanied in the beginning by a man in black walking up a hill while carrying a briefcase. This man is creepy right by himself without the music being added to it. The name on the briefcase is R.L. Stine, suddenly a strong wind blows opening the briefcase and letting papers fly everywhere. A “G” then flies out and is blown all over the place bringing doom and gloom to whatever it passes. The opening sequence of the show is enough to scare the faint hearted and that is just the beginning. The opening sequence changed over the seasons but always managed to remain creepy anyway. The episodes of each Goosebumps was always based around something scary, whether it was a green ooze coming to get the children of the town or a haunted carnival full of clowns that were out to get one little boy, there was always something different to scare anyone who watched. While the episodes were a little scary there is nothing that would keep parents from letting their young ones tune in, making this one of the best children’s shows to come along in a very long time. Goosebumps is a great show for the family to gather around and watch together on a dark and stormy night.
