Full Show Summary: Nikita is a drama series that aired on the CW on September 9, 2010. The show is based on a couple of different movies and follows the life of one Nikita (Maggie Q.) as she runs from the people who are chasing her. Nikita escaped from a secret organization that was funded by the government and went into hiding for three years. When the show starts she is just getting back with one thought in mind…to bring down the government organization that she escaped from. The show is mostly about her trying to bring down Division (the secret organization and has a great cast of supporting actors to back it up. Division in the past recruited troubled young people by erasing their pasts for them. In exchange the recruits became spies and assassins. Over the years however Division broke away from the government and started doing its own thing killing Nikita’s civilian boyfriend in the process. This killing is what prompted Nikita to turn rouge and vow to bring Division to its knees. Nikita hopes to do this by training her own recruit named Alex and sending her in undercover. Michael who is a division operator is ordered to take care of Nikita by his superiors, unaware that Nikita has a plant on the inside. Over the first season Nikita slowly, and with Alex’s help, starts to bring more and more people over to her way of thinking. The going is never easy for Nikita however, as the Division is always one step behind her, looking to take her out of the game for good. This is an action-packed, but also drama filled, show that has gained a bit of a following since it premiered. Nikita is determined to bring down the agency that killed her boyfriend, and to free the troubled teens that think they owe it all to Division.
