Full Show Summary: ABC’s Pretty Little Liars debuted in 2010, adapted from a series of books by Sara Shepard, and is set in the fictional town of Rosewood. Rosewood is a serene town where nothing much happens, or is it? For 4 young girls Rosewood is about to become a place of unrelenting horror and secrets they don’t want revealed. The clique of Spencer Hastings, Hanna Marin, Aria Montgomery, and Emily Fields was always super close until the summer night that their leader Allison DiLaurentis disappeared into the woods never to be seen again. The four girls swear never to reveal what really happened that night, and try to move on with their lives. The clique drifts apart because of the tragedy as each girl battles her own demons over the next year. One year after the disappearance of Allison, the girls start getting text messages from a mysterious “A” who threatens to expose all of their dirty little secrets, rendering Rosewood, Pennsylvania not so boring after all. The girls who had grown apart join forces to try and figure out who is terrorizing them all as the suspense builds. All of the girls think the culprit is Allison, however when her body is found they must put their minds to the test to figure out not only who killed their queen bee; but who knows their dreadful secret and every other little secret they have. Pretty Little Liars weaves the mystery of “A” expertly with the trials and tribulations of every day small town family life. As the girls from that summer night one year ago are tormented one by one, they must scramble to get at the truth before all of their secrets are revealed. Is it one of them who is playing these awful tricks, or does someone truly believe that two can keep a secret if one of them is dead?
