Full Show Summary: The Sons Of Anarchy Premiered on September 3, 2008 on the FX network. The story involves two main characters Clay and Jax who are part of a motorcycle club with questionable dealings to say the least. The club runs illegal and legal dealings out of a clubhouse in the city of Charming. Clay is the president and Jax (his stepson) is the vice president of the club. This motorcycle club does everything from gun-running to operating their garage (the legal side of the business.) Clay likes things done the old way, violent and sudden, while Jax has had an attack of conscience and is concerned about the direction SAMCRO is headed in. Jax’s concerns are two-fold: he has a young son to protect, and has been reading his dead fathers journals. Both of these concerns cause conflict between Jax and Clay. These heated debates cause problems in the club and in both men’s personal lives. Peppered by a cast of lesser characters, Sons of Anarchy centers around the two men, one an old school outlaw, the other a man with a conscience. Jax is loyal to the club, but also has loyalties elsewhere; misdeeds lay heavily on his mind throughout the series. The show is a realistic look at a motorcycle club heading down the wrong path in a fictional town. On the outside the town is just as its name says charming, the SAMCRO intends to keep it that way. Behind the scenes however is a ruthless lifestyle that could have lethal consequences on the town and the family itself. Jax, throughout the show tries hard to protect the town from the drug dealers, land grabbers, and law officials that seek to bring them all down. The struggles between him and Clay are legendary, as Jax tries to gain control before the dissension tears their family and the town they love apart.
