Summary: Katie Sampson, a 43-year-old mother of three and wife of Ari, is diagnosed with breast cancer. On one of her regular appointments at the hospital, Katie accidentally runs into the crew and host of Post-Op, a failing reality TV show filmed at the hospital. She quickly turns the tables on the host and sets the audience on fire with her wit, candor, and charisma. The producers get rid of the host, hire Katie, and the show takes off.
