Summary: The Nightmare Room was originally a book series by the already-famous author, R.L. Stine. It was originally intended to be a sort-of "Teen-Twilight Zone", in which ordinary teenage kids would find their lives getting weirder, stranger, and scarier. The book series ended after twelve books, due to low sales. It was originally set to be adapted for TV after only a few of the books were written.
