Full Episode Summary: This follow-up series to the BBC program of the same name started in 1994, the show shows archive clips from the original series, with some facts thrown in about the artist. In more recent episodes, due to the weekly Top of the Pops been cancelled, new performances and music videos have also been featured. A voiceover introduces each song, throughout 1994-1997, Jonnie Walker held the job, since then Steve Wright has provided the recordings. The last full series of TOTP2 ended in 2006, the show was due to make a proper comeback for Christmas 2008, taking the place of Top of the Pops Christmas special, however instead eight special episodes featuring new and classic Christmas songs have been produced, airing on the run-up to Christmas.
