Full Show Summary: White Collar is shown on the USA network and premiered in October, 2009. This show is centered on two main characters Neal Cafferey played by Matt Bomer, and Peter Burke played by Tim DeKay. Cafferey is a thief and skilled forger who was captured by FBI agent Peter Burke and imprisoned. Cafferey escapes to find his girlfriend Kate Moreau played by Alexandra Daddario, who broke up with him during his imprisonment. Burke is an FBI special agent, the one who was responsible for the original capture of Cafferey and the recapture. After his recapture Neal Cafferey offers to provide information about another case. However there is a catch, Cafferey will only provide the information to Peter Burke in a private meeting. Burke agrees to the meeting but is confronted by Cafferey and asked to make a deal. The deal states that Cafferey will provide information and help to catch other criminals, as part of a work release program. Burke is hesitant to go along with the agreement but after some thought decides to give it a chance. As part of the arrangement Cafferey is required to wear an ankle bracelet to monitor his movements. Kate, Cafferey’s girlfriend seems to be under the direction of a mysterious man, who is identifiable only by a 10 year commemorative FBI ring. Although Kate broke up with Cafferey during his imprisonment, she finds ways to communicate with him through cryptic messages, helping to give him information, and eventually prepares to meet back up with Cafferey. Along with being an FBI agent Burke is in a happy and committed marriage, and loves his life outside of his work. Through their work together Burke tries to convince Cafferey that it is possible to change his life, and find happiness living the life of an honest man.
