Full Show Summary: Workaholic’s is about to start its third season on Comedy Central. The show first aired in 2010 and follows the lives of Adam, Blake, and Anders (known to his friends as Ders), three hardly working men who are looking to party, party, and ummmm… party. These three “boys” were roommates in college and are still living their college days. They work as telemarketers and still share a home where they drink, pull pranks and basically act like they are still in high school. The single camera comedy has drawn quite a following because of the men’s’ debauchery and their amusing antics. The three men are the same in some ways and in others totally different. Blake Anderson plays Blake Chesterfield Henderson who is highly eccentric and a little on the strange side. Strangely he is the one who often makes the most sense of the three college buddies. Adam Devine plays Adam Dewayne DeMamp who is severely stuck on himself, a little impish at times and the clown of the group with his sometimes childish ways. Adam also has anger issues at times that the other two help him to deal with in a funny way. Last but not least is Anders Holm plays Anders “Ders” Holmvik who is the most responsible of the three, not that that is saying much. He is still pretty naïve and is led astray really easily. He also aspires to be elected to city council one day. The three actors who pretty much write their characters themselves have managed to make Workaholic’s a comical look at three men who want to party as much as possible, and work as little as possible. There are moments when they are good at their jobs, but those are flukes as far as we can see.
