Full Show Summary Making it in the music business certainly isn’t easy, even if you are a good-looking boy band. James, Carlos, Kendall and Logan are hockey players but decide to try their hand at music instead, forming the titular band and audition when they learn that a big time record producer is looking for the next big thing. Kendall is able to get the four a record contract, but this means that now they must work together and work hard to make Big Time Rush a success, even if it means going to school at the same time and dealing with all the other issues that life normally contains on top of the issues one gets with fame. Kendall Knight is the one responsible for getting Big Time Rush their big break, and he is also the most responsible member of the group generally. He is usually the one everyone comes to when things go wrong and can always be counted on to help out. James Diamond would probably love to get by on his good looks alone, but his friends remind him that that looks aren’t always enough. Carlos Garcia is the youngest member of the group in every way. While is the most childish, he is also the most optimistic and exuberant. Logan Mitchell is the brains of the group, able to help out with math homework and similar things but not always the best at thinking under pressure. Other characters, such as Kendall’s mother and sister, Big Time Rush’s producer’s assistant and an eccentric actress neighbor provide a support system for the boys while characters such as building manager Reginald Bitters and CEO Arthur Griffin serve as foils and rivals. The show deals humorously with the boys’ interaction with each other, their friends and their struggles to make Big Time Rush the best boy band it can be. |
