Wiki Biography: Chris Kerson was born in New York City and was raised both in the City and nearby in Westchester county. Although he received a degree in Psychology from the College of William and Mary, he also performed a number of theatre works there and was recognized by his faculty as having a great talent. After a brief post-graduation foray into Wall Street, he left the world of investment banking and decided pursue acting as a career. Chris made his film debut in the multi-festival film 'Flesh Suitcase' and while he continued to study with renowned teacher Charlie Laughton and others. He made his first TV appearance in LA guest starring on the series 'Pacific Blue'. He returned to New York he worked on a number of small independent films before finding his way back onto the stage. For three years he worked non-stop playing the lead roles in such theatre productions as Franz Xaver Kroetz' play "The Nest" at the Mint Theater, Stephan Morrow's "Hurry" which had a sold out run at the Blue Heron Art Center, and he originated the lead role of "Carl the Usher" in the New York premiere of the recently discovered "These Are the Stairs You Got to Watch" by Tennessee Williams. Playwright Mark Borkowski further utilized (and continues to use) Chris' dramatic and comedic abilities in his play "Within the Skins of Saints" and his published work "Don't Listen to What it Sounds Like". During this time Chris also appeared as the lead in Burke Roberts' film 'Insult to Injury', which was screened at Cannes and then later toured across Europe. He starred in Daniel Simon's play 'Genesis Cage Entertainment' and then went on to play the lead in the subsequent film production of 'Late Night Entertainment'. He played a supporting lead in Ron Massucci's feature film 'Two Star State of Mind' and also worked with Bulgarian filmmaker Kristina Nikolova on her short, 'Angel Jellyfish'. Since the year 2008 Chris has completed seven films including Thomas Kim's 'The Ride', and he played a pivotal supporting role in the New York feature 'Arrested Development'. He also starred in Sean Kirkpatrick's feature film 'Cost of a Soul' (formerly 'Redemption'), which received a great deal of media attention in Philadelphia where it was filmed . The latter two films are currently in post-production.
