Dominique McElligott Biography

Wiki Biography: Born in Dublin, Ireland, Dominique first came to notice when she was at secondary school and got cast as the daughter of Sean McGinley 'Cora' in RTE's On Home Ground. After completing school, she landed another leading role of 'Rachel' in a mini-series Whiskey Echo. She then won the female lead in the horror movie Dark Floors and two other roles quickly: 'Dr. Johnson' in Rick Larkin's Satellites and Meteorites and 'Jenna' in Being Human (BBC/Touchpaper Films). Dominique went on to appear as series regular "Rebecca" in RAW, a TV drama series for Ecosse TV/RTE 2. She subsequently appeared as Tess Bell opposite Sam Rockwell in the a the award winning feature film Moon directed by Duncan Jones. Next, she appeared in the role of "Aoife O'Carroll" in The Guard with Brendan Gleeson and Don Cheadle; and in 2010, she landed the role of "Ellie" in the feature film Blackthorn with Sam Shepard and Stephen Rea. In the fall of 2011, she appeared in the leading female role of 'Lily Bell' opposite Colm Meaney in AMC'S Hell on Wheels directed by David Von Ancken.
