Wiki Biography: Duane Whitaker came to Hollywood from Lubbock, Texas, in the early 1980s to pursue an acting career. He began writing and directing plays as well as working in film and television. Four of his plays have been produced in Los Angeles, including "Eddie Presley", which was adapted and became his first produced screenplay (Eddie Presley (1992)). He also wrote the screenplay for Stripteaser (1995), which was released on video in 1995. Duane continued to work as an actor and scored the role of Maynard in Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction (1994). He then co-wrote From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money (1999) (V) with director Scott Spiegel and co-stars with Robert Patrick and Bo Hopkins. He wrote and directed a low-budget feature, Together & Alone (1998), which screened in Park City, Utah, during the Sundance Film Festival.
