Full Show Summary Yet another Reailty TV show, Gigolos is somewhat original due to the nature of its protagonists - men who make a life offering their sexual services in Las Vegas. The show puts its main focus in Garrett, a former model who went for a more profitable activity and created the agency “Cowboys for Angels”, aimed to mature businesswomen who don’t want or can’t find a serious relationship. Along Garrett we’ll meet another four gigolos - Brace, Nick, Seteven and Vin, each with his own personality and characteristics. Though a part of the action is scripted, as in mostly any reality show, the five gigolos seem genuinely nice guys who try to be good at their work, and if you had a bad opinion of male prostitution, you may change your mind after watching the show. Considering the limitations of the genre, the episodes of Gigolos are reasonably interesting, and viewers will probably enjoy the conversations held by the protagonists at the bar, speaking about any topic related to their jobs and lives. One of the most original parts of the show is that it actually depicts the male escorts having sex with their clients, in scenes shot in a soft porn style that will no doubt boost the interest of both male and female viewers. Despite their good economic position, the clients are not necessarily gorgeous women, and the show doesn’t try to introduce artificial glamour or fake people. In the current “reality” saturated TV, Gigolos is not exactly a revolutionary offering, but at least depicts individuals with an unusual and exciting profession, and it rarely fails to entertain. |
