Hard Time is an American reality-documentary television series on the National Geographic Channel. The series debuted on February 1, 2011 and is hosted by Thurston Moore as he sheds light on the daily life of the prisoners and guards at the Correctional Reception Center located in Orient, Ohio.

For the officers that handle the inmates on a daily basis at Last Vegas's Clark County Detention Center it can be hard to tell who is lying and who is telling the truth. Rosemary Vandecar has been accused of first-degree murder but claims she is innocent. Dubbed "Jail Mom", she extends her legal advice to other female inmates, making her influential in her unit.
