Full Show Summary

We have heard about the American dream, but how does one go about actually achieving it, making it come true? Why isn’t there a comprehensive, step-by-step plan on how to make it in America? It’s too bad there isn’t because these guys could really use one. Ben Epstein and Cameron Calderon are determined to make their own personal American Dream come true by making a big splash on New York City’s fashion scene. It’s definitely a cutthroat field though, and succeeding is not going to be easy. Ben and Cam have many obstacles to overcome if they want their ventures to succeed, and this dramatic comedy series details them facing both these challenges and the other issues in their lives. When the show begins, Ben finds himself dangling in the void when his latest venture fails, and has no choice but to invest in Cam’s latest scheme. It turns out that Cam’s cousin, a recently released prisoner, is looking to collect on a loan he made to Cam, and the plan’s success becomes a matter of possible life or death. Ben and Cam make many other future attempts to make it big and encounter the problems of marketing, finding (and keeping) customers and coming up with quality products that people will want to buy. Ben also realizes he is still carrying a torch for his ex-girlfriend Rachel, and he would like nothing more than to win her back (except maybe for his designer jeans to be a big hit). Assisting Ben and Cam in their endeavors is Domingo Dean, who has the connections to the fashion world that they don’t. Combining this with their own enthusiasm and business savvy, they plan to make enormous success for themselves. Not to be outdone, Cam’s cousin has entrepreneurial ambitions of his own (he wants to create and market his own energy drink.)
