Full Show Summary

What happens when you put two funny guys, six New Zealanders and six Australians on an island and leave them to fight over $25,000? All-out war! This all-new entertainment series sees the trans-Tasman rivals battle it out in a series of hilarious challenges - to find out once and for all who is the best in this great trans-tasman rivalry. It's one hell of a battle... all the time watched over by umpires Mike Havoc and Dave Fane. Set on a paradise island near Aitutaki in the Cook Islands, the two teams face extreme challenges and crazy games with spectacular t umbles and splashes that will have the whole family laughing out loud! Our 12 competitors represent the ultimate symbols of trans-Tasman rivalry from each country. They are the stereotypes that we all love, from the beauty queens (yes, Miss Universe New Zealand versus Miss Universe Australia) to the men of the land (remember that burly high country farmer who found Shrek, the never-shorn sheep? Well yes, he's on the island too.) Split into two camps representing their two countries, every challenge is a deadly-serious contest between the Aussies and the Kiwis, except in the view of onlookers Mike Havoc and Dave Fane who will put all sorts of obstacles in the way of success. The teams must overcome the hardship of being castaways, while competing in the toughest and most physically demanding competition they have ever faced... and don't forget the devious and back-stabbing strategies of their under-hand or should we say underarm - trans-Tasman rivals! Forget the Bledisloe Cup, the Anzac test or the Silver Ferns v Australia! This time we're taking the rivalry off the sportsfield and on to the Cook Islands as our two great nations face extreme obstacle courses, thrills, spills and hilarious falls to entertain the whole family. Each week one competitor faces a weekly elimination, with one player leaving the island. In the series finale, there will be just four players competing from each team - the ultimate New Zealand vs Australia showdown - in an individual battle as they race to find the island's buried treasure. more less
