Having used the Packer money to purchase a new house, Charmian is missing Ron. He is lonely as well, barely scraping a living as a roofer in a Rio suburb. Tragedy strikes after their eldest son, Nicky, is killed in a car crash. Ron ends up sliding into a pit of drinking, drugs and women and meets a beautiful young Brazilian dancer by the name of Raimund. He decides to arrange one last payday and then turn himself in. He talks to a Daily Express journalist to sell him his life story.
