Wiki Biography: Roy Williams, Jr. is an up-and-coming actor/model based in Orlando, FL. Roy has studied Method acting and has focused on the Meisner technique (studied at Truthful Acting Studios in Orlando, FL). Roy is an only child to Roy and Sherri Williams. He was born on the beautiful island of Hawaii. His father was stationed at Schofield Barracks Army Post in Hawaii. At the age of two, Roy's father was transferred to Ft. Stewart in Hinesville, Georgia. While living in Ludowici, Georgia, Roy discovered his love and passion for sports (especially baseball) as well as the arts. Roy had his first poem published at the age of six! He continued to live in Ludowici until the age of 10 when his father was transferred to Eglin Air Force Base (A.F.B) in the Panhandle of Florida. While living on Eglin A.F.B., Roy attended Cherokee Elementary and Addie R. Lewis Middle School where he played on the football, basketball and baseball teams. Roy discovered his talent as a natural athlete during this time and excelled in all sports. Roy went on to attend Niceville Senior High School where he excelled in baseball, basketball and track. Unknown to his friends, Roy had two poems published during this time. Shortly after graduating, Roy was able to have his first taste of acting in a theater production for the talent company, Hollywood Comes to the Emerald Coast. Roy went on to attend Northwest Florida State College after graduation then transferred to Full Sail University in Orlando, FL where he graduated with a Film degree in February of 2006. Since living in Central Florida, Roy has been actively involved with production in Orlando and the surrounding area. Just to name a few, Roy has worked on projects such as Never Back Down, The Final Destination 3D, Tiger Woods commercial for Nintendo Wii, The Last Spin, Someone Else's Dream, Sonny's Bar-B-Q Commercials and a Super Bowl promo for Orlando's Local 6 news. Current projects include The Highwaymen (feature) and I'm So Fly (TV Series). Roy has also done numerous print jobs and has recently appeared in a fashion show called La Fleur de Noir for a webisode series called La Fleur de Mai as well as featured on the cover of Orlando Wedding magazine. With Roy's ambition and drive to succeed and make a different, he looks towards the future to one day achieve an elevated level of success in acting. Above all else that comes with acting, he receives pure satisfaction from performing and touching lives through this amazing art.
