Wiki Biography: Born Sebastian Alexander B. Street in Silchester, England, the second of two children in a family of a scientist father and a nurse mother. He grew up between the UK and Holland attending various schools and trained from the age of 12 in martial arts. He had earned a black belt in Karate by the age 16 and was also training in Judo and Aikido.Following school he attended the renowned Imperial College in London, where he gained an engineering degree. It was during the last year of the degree that a director friend, who had asked him to play a small role in his film, suggested he should try acting seriously. Following this advice he applied for short courses at some of the respected London drama schools and after auditioning was approached by the head of the The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts and offered a full scholarship if he wanted to attend the three year course.His professional career began on the stage, performing in many theatre classics, including work by Brecht, Checkoff and Shakespeare.
