Wiki Biography: Thurston Cherry knew at a young age that he wanted to entertain the world and be a role model for others. He started acting in elementary plays and continued all through his years of schooling while winning the hearts of many. Originally he went to college in hopes of one day going to law school and being an actor on the side. It wasn't until a fellow actor during his Sophomore year of college approached him after a performance class and pushed him to change his major that persuaded him to take this career full on. That following year he got his first head shots and made a commitment to follow his passion no matter how long it took.After training and earning a BA in Performance Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill it was time to make the move to Hollywood. Thurston booked his first short film during his first month of being in LA and continues to book work every year. He's appeared in several commercials, voice over spots, and films. Several of his films have made their way through the independent festival circuit and won in various categories. His most recent film, "Life at the Resort" is playing on HBO Europe and will be hitting the ZNS Bahamas network in 2014.
