Tishuan Scott Biography

Wiki Biography: Tishuan was born October 27, 1979 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He attended Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA where he matriculated towards earning his Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Psychology. He then attended the UCLA School of Theater, Film & Television where he received his Master of Fine Arts in Acting. He can currently be seen in Andrew Bujalski's Sundance 2013 Alfred P. Sloan Award Winning Feature Film "Computer Chess" as Ghanaian Guru "Keneiloe" and in his SXSW 2013 Best Actor Award Winning performance of "Nate" a Freedman gravedigger for the Federal Union Army, in Chris Eska's "The Retrieval." Tishuan became a member of SAG-AFTRA in 2010, after working as an Extra, African Pirate Lord, in fellow UCLA Alum Gore Verbinski's Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. He has served as an At Large Board Member of the SAG-AFTRA Houston-Austin Local, in addition to serving as Chair of the SAG-AFTRA Houston-Austin Commercials Wages & Working Conditions Committee.
