Plot: Twins Viola (Imogen Stubbs) and Sebastian (Steven Mackintosh) each presume the other is dead after their ship sinks off the shores of Illyria. Disguised as her brother to protect herself better, Viola enters Illyrian society under the name of Cesario, a move which sets into motion a delirious dance of mistaken identity and gender confusion. Director Trevor Nunn transplants the Shakespearean comedy to the Victorian age.
